Can you be happy in life? Looking for guidance…

In my previous article “How can I be happy in life? Sharing my personal views…“, I scratched the surface of what it can mean to be happy to different people and ways in which we can concretely experience happiness.

Join me now as I look at what guidance is already available out there to answer the question “Can you be happy in life?”

Put on your explorer hat as you may find new doors to enter and new territories to explore…

Where to Look for Guidance? Light is Light is Light…

Can you be happy in life

I like to believe that I am as much free of prejudice as possible and truly believe in the essence of this quote from ‘Abdu’l-Bahá:

Light is good in whatsoever lamp it is burning! A rose is beautiful in whatsoever garden it may bloom! A star has the same radiance if it shines from the East or from the West. Be free from prejudice, so will you love the Sun of Truth from whatsoever point in the horizon it may arise!

I therefore look at every piece of guidance out there regardless of the source, and I feel whether or not that guidance resonates with me. This is my ultimate test… do I feel in my heart and in my body the truth of the words I hear or read? Sometimes I even get goose bumps when something resonates deeply with me…

How about you? How do YOU feel the truth of what you read and hear. Please share your personal experience in the comments below.

Happy Life Quotes: Joy and Happiness

Happiness and Joy have been topics of discussion and reflection for centuries. Here are some of my favorite quotes. Ones that resonate with me as being true.

Can you be happy in life

Joy gives us wings! In times of joy our strength is more vital, our intellect keener, and our understanding less clouded. We seem better able to cope with the world and to find our sphere of usefulness.‘Abdu’l-Bahá

Now and then it’s good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.Guillaume Apollinaire

Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.Aristotle

How to Receive Guidance? Being Humble Enough to Ask…

So yes, there is a lot of guidance out there about what happiness is and how to be happy… but how do I invite the guidance I need in my life right now? The guidance that is going to help me move forward today?

Personally, I say this simple prayer from ‘Abdu’l-Bahá almost each day:

O God, guide me, protect me, make of me a shining lamp and a brilliant star.  Thou art the Mighty and the Powerful.

You can hear this prayer mixed with other inspiring lyrics put to music here:

I love to read and chant many other baha’i prayers, but since I believe that “Light is good in whatsoever lamp it is burning!“, as mentioned earlier, I also truly enjoy prayers and mantras from other traditions. Some of my favorite mantras are:

* “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu“, a Sanskrit mantra which means: “May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.” You can find more information on this mantra in this article on gaia.com “What is the meaning of Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu

* “Om Ma Tri Mu Ye Sa Le Du“, the Mantra of Compassion within the Tibetan Bon Tradition. You can read more about this mantra in this Dharma Wheel forum post.

* “Om Mani Padme Hum“, an ancient Buddhist mantra which literally translates to “Praise to the Jewel in the Lotus”.  Here is an example of the meaning attributed to each syllable (there are different opinions on this). It is said that each syllable represents one of the six goals of existence and helps bring forth the qualities associated with that goal.

  • Om = the vibration or sound of the universe; represents divine energy and generosity and purifies the ego
  • Ma = represents ethics and purifies jealousy
  • Ni = represents patience and purifies want or desire
  • Pad = represents diligence and purifies ignorance and judgment
  • Me = represents concentration and purifies attachment
  • Hum = the unity of all; represents wisdom and purifies hatred

More about this in this article “Om Mani Padme Hum – The Meaning of the Mantra in Tibetan Buddhism“.

Enjoy listening to it if you feel like it.

How to Receive Guidance? Keeping our Eyes and Ears Open…

Can you be happy in life

Once we have asked for guidance, the key is to keep our eyes and ears open. I personally find that I get a lot of answers while surfing intuitively on the internet… I click on a link, then on another one, and so on, without letting my head get in the way… I go fast… and suddenly, surprise! I come across information that starts giving me some answers to my questions.

Another way I receive guidance is in my dreams and just after I wake up. I have noticed that I get many new ideas when I can stay a few minutes in bed before getting up. The key for me is then to write them down. I often have the illusion that I am going to remember my ideas with details even if I don’t write them down… experience has shown me many times that I was wrong… so now, I do my best to put my ideas on paper as soon as possible.

How about you? How do YOU receive guidance? And how do YOU make sure you remember? Share your answer with me in the comments below.

Receiving Guidance whether we Like it or Not

I believe that everything in our life is guidance. Whether we like it or not, whether we are humble enough to ask for it or whether it invites itself through hardship, disease or accidents, I believe guidance is ever present in our lives, whether we see it or not.

Yes, as harsh as this may sound, I do believe that hardship, disease and accidents happen to us to help us understand something we have not been willing to understand so far.

There is a piece of baha’i writings called the Hidden Words, written by Bahá’u’lláh. It can be considered as a summary of the spiritual teachings revealed in all spiritual traditions… the voice of God speaking clearly to us… One of these hidden words says this:

O SON OF MAN! My calamity is My providence, outwardly it is fire and vengeance, but inwardly it is light and mercy. Hasten thereunto that thou mayest become an eternal light and an immortal spirit. This is My command unto thee, do thou observe it.

So yes, I do believe that the Universe and the “force” that created it, whether we call it God or use another name, are benevolent despite how difficult my  life can sometimes be. And I also believe that being proactive about learning the lessons I am meant to learn in this life can save me a lot trouble ahead of time… so here I am, exploring happiness and joy and sharing what I discover along the way with you.

I do not pretend to have the truth… I am just on a quest to understand life, be as happy as possible, and share this happiness with others around me. And I am excited that you are joining me on this adventure by reading my articles and interacting with me.

How about you? What do YOU believe? Please share your opinion with me in the comments below.

  1. Hi Nathalie, another great post by you here!! These are the bits in the post that I liked:

    the Baha’i quotes !!
the easy to read layout of the post
how you said you find answers intuitively.Yes i believe God speaks to us all the time, everyday but it’s up to us to be in the right “space’ to be able to hear these messages.
    great work here Nathalie !!

    1. Hello Billy,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comment here! And thank you so much for your kind words.

I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the Baha’i quotes.

I love how you say it, that “God speaks to us all the time, everyday but it’s up to us to be in the right ‘space’ to be able to hear these messages.” I totally agree!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me!

      Nathalie

  2. Hello Nathalieu

At some stage in our life we all look for answers. When we are young we do not focus on spiritual matters as we believe we will live forever. As we start to get older  we start to question who we are and where are are we going. I have been on several quests and thus requested guidance at several turns in my life. One has to take risks and have an open mind. Sometimes one master leads you to another. So in the end the  famous saying ” When the student is ready the Master will appear”. One has to keep looking for the right answer with pure intentions and the universal light guides to find the right answers. Thanks for sharing this . Peace and Blessings. Cheers Jake

    1. Hello Jake,

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave your comment here.

Yes! I completely believe in this too, that “When the student is ready the Master will appear”. And in pure intentions too!

I’m curious… which quests have YOU been on?

Peace and Blessings to you too,

      Nathalie

  3. Hi Nathalie – thanks for sharing this inspirational article. I have never really thought about the concept of actively seeking guidance, but have come to realise that it finds me anyway, sometimes in unusual circumstances. I consider that I am actually at my happiest time of life right now, with a loving partner, strong family and a fulfilling career. Everything comes to those who wait! All the best, Diane

    1. Hello Diane.

Thank you for taking the time to read my article and leave your comment here.

It’s great that guidance finds you without your actively seeking it. 🙂 I have that a lot too… it’s about recognising it when it comes… sometimes in unusual circumstances, as you say. 🙂

I’m really glad to hear that you consider that you are at your happiest time of life right now. Enjoy and spread the joy! 🙂

      All the best,

      Nathalie

  4. Thank you for this article, I love the positive vibes. Makes me wonder what happiness truly means, how subjective it could be. What makes one person happy might not mean anything to someone else, it is all related to our perception, experiences, upbringing, and social standards. I have only recently come to believe that ultimate happiness is being free and grateful. Free as in not judgemental, as in enjoying everything you do or striving to do what you enjoy no matter what the circumstances.

It is beautiful how all faiths guide us into happiness, but only few understand the message.

Thank you for this lovely article, wishing you happiness…

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words, Sahar!!

Yes, it IS beautiful how all faiths guide us into happiness.

I agree with you… ultimate happiness is being free (in the way you describe it) and grateful. You’ve put it very nicely!

Thank you for sharing! Hope to read more of your comments on my other articles. 🙂

      Wishing you happiness too!

      Nathalie

  5. Hi this is a really inspiring post. It is true that happiness is where you find it. Everyone is under so much pressure in our modern society that it is always good to talk about being happy and where you can take guidance and motivation from. I also think a site like this could benefit those who are feeling down or depressed too. Thanks again. Kenny

    1. Thank YOU, Kenny, for taking the time to read my blog post and to leave your comment here. 🙂

Yes, you are right! I too believe that my blog could benefit people who are feeling down or depressed… which is pretty much everyone of us at some point or another in our lives, right? 😉

      Many blessings,

      Nathalie

  6. Hi there,

Very thoughtful of self revelation. I am also a buddhist myself. My happiness has changed through out the milestones in my life. However, the process is the same as you mentioned, ask for help, listen to it, and decide if we like it or not. I believe that we all can be happy but before we reach that we need time to sit down and focus on ourselves. We let something insignificant be in part of our lives like stress and we are constantly busy. Because of that we forget to just pause and think things through. I always say this, I can change myself but I cannot change others. Good read. Happy holidays

    1. Hello Nuttanee,

Thank you so much for sharing these words of wisdom with me.

Yes, I completely agree with you: I can change myself but I cannot change others. I often think of Gandhi’s words “Be the change you want to see in the world”. 🙂 Actually this is really funny, I was inspired to go to Ecosia and type “Gandhi be the change you want to see…” and I just found out that Gandhi did not actually say these words… Here is what I found on this blog post: https://josephranseth.com/gandhi-didnt-say-be-the-change-you-want-to-see-in-the-world/
“Gandhi didn’t actually ever say “Be the change you want to see in the world.” Here’s the real quote…
“We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.” – Mahatma Gandhi ”

This actually describes exactly how I ended up understanding the “fake” quote… Wow!! Thank you so much for inspiring me and leading me to learn something new! 🙂

      Have a beautiful day,

      Nathalie

  7. Inspiring post, thanks you Nathalie.

We may not share the same faith and the “Higher Being” we worship and pray to may not be the same but I do believe we can all be happy in life because first and foremost, happiness is a matter of choice. People have different outlooks in life but at the end of the day, our happiness rests on us.

Do i also look for guidance? Absolutely! I am aware that I have limitations as a human being and so I need all the guidance I can get, whether it has something to do with my happiness or not. I pray to God everyday to guide me and keep me and my love ones under the shadow of His care.

You’re right, we all need guidance whether we want to admit it or not. And if we are truly seeking for guidance to be enlightened on something and be happy, we first need to acknowledge our need of it; we must humbly accept that we can’t do it on our own.

    1. Thank you so much for your words of appreciation and for taking the time to share your thoughts with me, Alice. I totally agree with you! Whatever we believe, we can choose to be happy. 🙂

      Nathalie

  8. Nathalie, Hi! You have created an excellent spiritual article, filled with light, poetry and reflections.

I read it slowly and feel the penetration of every word, every sentence and your thought. I feel the joy of understanding. I hear you well.

Indeed, happiness is for a person to be a responsive string. People are born different and in our power to make them joyful and happy. Please let us think and talk together. I will send your post to my sister and daughter. She is my Natalie.

    Thank you. Mark

    1. Hello Mark,

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my article and to share your thoughts with me.
It’s great that you wanted to send my post to your sister and daughter Natalie (what a beautiful name! 😉 ). I hope they too take the time to share their thoughts with me.

Many blessings to you and your family,

      Nathalie

  9. I believe happiness is fleeting here one min gone the next. When it come we can refuse it or embrace it. I am christian so i believe guidance come from God. I believe that he uses our circumstances as well as the Holy Spirit. To lead and guide us    to do his will.

I disagree with some of you points that light is light. The reason for this is there are spirit that try to imitate god. They offer there guidance which often. Accomplishes there goals without regard or in attempt to destroy our souls. It is good to seek guidance but better to be sure where you are getting that guidance from .

Knowing what you are being guided towards and the goal of what is guiding you down that path. This is my view on the Subject thank you for sharing you in this article.

    1. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts with me, Terry.

You make an interesting point regarding light… I am also a certified electrician here in Belgium (I’m serious!) and, technically, there are indeed several types of light: blue light, red light… and then there is also natural light and artificial light… so I agree that all guidance is not necessarily what it may seem at first sight…

One thing that helps me make the distinction is found in a passage of the Bible, in Matthew 7:16-20 “Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

Also for natural light… there is the light from stars, and the light reflected by planets, and the light reflected by the moon… also different… and then there is the light coming from our solar system’s star: the Sun.

And at the same time, the sun rises every day anew, and it is ‘both’ the same sun AND a new dawn…

There are so many fascinating references to the sun and stars in the Bible. I LOVE reading and studying the Bible and the prophecies it contains. I truly find it fascinating that everything was already written so long ago! 🙂

What are YOUR favorite parts of the Bible, Terry?

      Many blessings,

      Nathalie

  10. Hello Nathalieu. I love your beautiful quote from ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’. It really speaks to me.

I do believe one can be happy and I do believe that it is elusive for a lot of people.

I start my day each day with a stretch and finish by asking for guidance to start my day with a positive attitude and to be kind to those around me, especially my husband who I know I sometimes take for granted.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful article!

    1. Hello Mary Ann,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts here with me.

It warms my heart to hear that the quote from ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’ really speaks to you.

Yes! Isn’t it interesting how we sometimes take the people we love the most for granted? It’s beautiful that you do your best to be kind to your husband. I do the same! 🙂 I can’t say that I am always successful… but I do my best! 🙂 And when I fail, it keeps me humble… 🙂

Many blessings to you and your family,

      Nathalie

  11. I must say that this article is very emotional but in the same time very helpful. We all must admit that life is hard and whenever we are rich or poor, life is hard so we must find something special to guide us on the right path. Song that you gave, “O God Guide me” is very motivational and I enjoy to listen it, it can give massive strength and positive energy.

    1. Hello Daniel,

It is so kind of you to leave these appreciative words here.

Yes, whether we are rich or poor, we all need something special to guide us. There are 2 Hidden Words revealed by Baha’u’llah that touch me a lot about this topic (Hidden Words are like a summary of God’s teachings from all world’s religions, written as if God were speaking directly to us).

      Here is the first one:

“O SON OF BEING! If poverty overtake thee, be not sad; for in time the Lord of wealth shall visit thee. Fear not abasement, for glory shall one day rest on thee.”

      And the second one:

      “O SON OF MAN!
Should prosperity befall thee, rejoice not, and should abasement come upon thee, grieve not, for both shall pass away and be no more.”

It’s great to hear that you like the song “O God Guide me” and that you feel that it ” can give massive strength and positive energy.” I like the words you have used.

Thanks again for stopping by and sharing this with me, Daniel

      Many blessings,

      Nathalie

  12. Personally, I feel that just about everyone needs some sort of guidance in life at some point in time – no matter how happy people ‘appear’ on the outside. We cannot be 100% happy all of the time – it’s not the way mother nature and life in general works!

I really like the way that your article is pointing out that a lot of people seem to shy away from asking for help – not being brave enough to do this.

Some great and uplifting topics here – a really interesting read.

In your own story – did you also once find it hard to ask for guidance? Is that where this article came from?

    1. Hello Chris,

Thanks a lot for taking the time to share your thoughts with me here.

And thank you also for your words of appreciation.

You ask an interesting question. 🙂 Yes, I used to reject the fact that I needed guidance for a big part of my life. When I started believing in the Baha’i teachings, I started praying again (I was baptised and raised as a Catholic in France but I quickly noticed that Jesus Christ’s teachings were not being applied by many people claiming to believe in Him so I had a blanket rejection of all forms of religion and praying for many years). And because the Baha’i teachings say that all religions come from the same God, I started looking at guidance from all sort of sources with new eyes and I found inner peace…

This article came from the fact that I notice around me in Belgium, France and the Netherlands (and in Western Europe in general) that people want to improve their lives but are sometimes not brave and humble enough to look for guidance around them…

There is a saying that goes “if you keep on doing what you have always done, you will keep on getting what you have always got.” or something like this… so I wanted to share some info about an alternative… and also hear from other people’s experience with guidance in the comments. 🙂 I LOVE learning from other people’s experience! 🙂

      Thank you for asking.

      Nathalie

  13. We all need to be happy and there have been many times in my life and even lately when I haven’t been happy.

We have the right to be happy and life goes by way too fast.I’ve learned a lot about this since I retired.

I’ve been living too much in the past and need to live in the moment and be thankful for each day.I always lived in the past and looking too much into the future and it depressed me to do this.

Finally, I am starting to learn how to let things go and not let things get to me. The past is the past. It’s today that I must be happy about! Thanks Nathalie! 🙂

    1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me, Rob!

There is a great book called “The Power of Now”. Do you know it? You can find it here if you are curious: https://amzn.to/2zK4TWD
And here is about practicing the power of now: https://amzn.to/2QbTGbF

I hope this is helpful! Let me know if you do read them and, if so, what you think about them. Maybe you and I could write a joined review on this?

      Nathalie

  14. Interesting choice of subjects to write about, this blog seems to give you a way to share what you know/love/feel and want haha. That is for the good I would say 😉 Overall im quite impressed with your writing style and appeal, keep up the good work! Let me finish with a question though, are you happy? or could you be more happy?

  15. Great post ! I do believe in the divine guidance ..our connection with the universe, how we attract things in our life and that all our happiness lies within.
    Very well written.

  16. Hi Nathalie. Many thanks for sharing your thoughts on being happy and receiving guidance. I too get goosebumps when I see, hear, feel, or come to understand something that resonates with me on a soul level.
I like this quote the best: “Now and then it’s good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.” This says it all- that there is nothing to pursue, nothing to learn, nothing to suffer etc. Just be happy. What a great message.
I think that prayer is very important as it sends our intentions out into the universe. But unless we follow up with actions to create what we want in life, our lives will not change. We are here to be human and experience all that living in this reality can teach us. Let’s make the most of this beautiful life and have as much fun and joy as possible.
    hallelujah!

    1. Hello Andrew.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! Yes, I completely agree with you that we should follow up with actions after prayer. 🙂 I often joke with my friends that I can pray all I want, if I have a stain on my pants, it’s not going to go away just by me praying for my pants to be clean. 🙂 Hahaha! But I do believe that praying can open up my “receiving channels” to be inspired to find solutions to clean my pants… like finding an appropriate detergent, getting a washing machine, avoiding the next stain, etc. It starts with prayer and continues with guided and inspired action. 🙂

Yes! Let’s make the most of this beautiful life! Hallelujah! 🙂

      Nathalie

  17. I found your article to be interesting to read.

In my humble opinion, it is important to learn the difference between having JOY and being HAPPY.  Though there meanings are synonymous, both reflects positive attitude.

As a Christian, I find it as a practical guide in my life to live the principle of ACTS 20:35 that “THERE IS MORE HAPPINESS IN GIVING THAN THERE IS IN RECEIVING.”

The MORE we give, the MORE we experience happiness and joy in our lives.

    1. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! 🙂 I really like that passage of the holy bible, yes! And I do agree it is important to practice it! Thank you for sharing your source of inspiration with me. 🙂 Nathalie

  18. I tend to search various avenues, both online and offline for happiness.

Mostly, I read personal development books and watch YouTube videos. They do help to feel happier within to a certain degree. But I still feel as though I should be doing more for that happiness to find me. Whether it’s doing something I’m passionate about, looking to family, friends, and starngers for guidance or just generally helping folks more. OR  a combination of all three. I’m unsure. But I guess I’ll find out.

As for quotes, they are uplifting. But I find it even more uplifting when watching the likes of Tony Robbins and his “I Am Not Your Guru” programme because sometimes we need that actual life-coaching to go hand-in-hand with those quotes.

But I do also beleive that being humble and DEFINITELY grateful are two of the things that can play the biggest roles in our happiness.

I guess happiness means a lot of different things to many people. We just have to find what makes us truly happy in life and pour all of our energy into it.

Have you ever watched the ‘Pursuit of Happyness’ movie? Probably one of the best and inspirational true stories around that can help give us the spark to finding our own happiness in life.

    Neil

    1. Hello Neil,

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! 🙂

I have not yet watched the ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ movie, no. Thanks a lot for recommending it. I actually came across this movie title while doing research for my previous article but I did not take the time to look deeper into it. I take this as a sign that I should look into it now. I am always looking for good inspiring movies to watch with my husband so I shall suggest this one to him. 🙂

Yes, I too get inspired by watching people like Tony Robbins. I did not understand why so many people were crazy about his work until just recently. I watched some videos where he guided a married couple to see through their challenges and I was deeply impressed.

About the word GURU, I recently attended a Millionaire Mind Intensive in Brussels (Belgium) and the trainer gave us a different meaning for that word that I found quite interesting… it’s about spelling it out G-U-R-U… Gee! You are you! The message was about being ourselves… and that’s how we can best guide people and be an example…

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with me. 🙂

      Nathalie

  19. I have conversations with the universe as much as possible. I believe that guidance is everywhere we look, if we really seek it. It’s amazing how the modern brain has been conditioned to miss these small little signals from the universe, guiding us on our way to fulfilling our purpose in this life and preparing us for the next…

Thanks for sharing your ways of receiving guidance. I was intrigued by the Om Mani Padme Hum chant. I actually got goosebumps while listening to it. I will be listening to it a lot more from now.

    1. Nice that you have conversations with the universe as much as possible.

Yes! I totally agree with you! Guidance is everywhere we look! I also get a lot of guidance from nature and have a lot of respect for ancient wisdom like native american wisdom and other forms of shamanism from around the world.

Thanks for sharing that you got goosebumps while listening to the Om Mani Padme Hum chant. 🙂 It is said to be very powerful. 🙂

      Nathalie

  20. What a wonderful and uplifting post.  I do believe that everyone needs guidance at some point in their life.  For me, it is so beneficial to my heath and well being to get the guidance I need.  I loved the first set of music with the prayer.  Very nice!  Guidance can definitely come in many forms, and sometimes yes, we just have to be brave enough to ask for help with this.  I am a very independent and proud person, so this is probably something that I should work on….asking for help and then relying on someone else for the guidance.

    1. Thank you for your comment!

I am a very independent and proud person myself and it took me a long time to be humble enough to ask for help. ? At the same time, it’s not really that I rely on someone else for the guidance. It’s more that I rely on something outside of me to remind me of what it already within me. That’s why I wait to see if something resonates with me… It’s not really “outside guidance”… more of a reminder… ? I sometimes forget that the answers and the guidance is already within me if I only connect with my higher self and the source of all creation… well, that’s my personal opinion… ?

Nice to hear that you loved the first set of music with the prayer. ?

      Nathalie

  21. Thank You Nathalie for your inspiring article.

Happiness is definitely something that we all want but the problem is some of us don’t look for it. I have found that you will find what you spend most of your time thinking about. So if you want to find happiness then think about being happy. Don’t spend your time thinking about negative things that you can’t control, Instead try to go through life with a positive mental attitude and happiness will find you.

    1. Hello Micah!

Yes, I totally agree with you! I also believe that you will find what you spend most of your time thinking about and that if you want to find happiness then think about being happy. 🙂 Thanks for sharing this piece of wisdom with me. 🙂

    Hi Nathlieu,

What a lovely website and a beautiful article.I love the positive message generated from your article and am full agreement that you can be happy in life.

I constantly encourage my children and those I work to be find something to be happy about each and every day as if you spend too much focusing on long term goals then life will just pass you by. Live for the moment and the rest will take care of itself.

    1. Hello Richard. Thank you for your positive feedback! It’s great that you encourage your children and those you work with to find something to be happy about each and every day. I totally agree with you about living in the moment and not just focus on long-term goals. 🙂 Nathalie
